Sometimes we receive gifts that we aren't so happy with. They can be really odd and we may not even know what the item is to be used for. But if your fortunate enough to have a mother like mine who wanted to do well by you, you'll be polite and do your best to reply with a graceful, "Thank-you."Will, our middle child does not have to fake-it, one would be blind to not see that he is thrilled with his gift. I look at the pictures and pat myself on the back because I know he got what he wanted for Christmas. In my deeper inner spiritual thoughts I 
wonder, does he KNOW Jesus? Can he see Christ in me? As a parent I do believe that is my most important role. God gives us Christ. Through Him we have eternal life. We must remember to share Christ in us as believers. I pray my son's KNOW the real living Christmas gift.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Cecil and I just watched the videos. Didn't know we had a rock star in the family....three of them. How much fun was that??? I just got yours, Craigs and Shannons blogsites tonight and hope to keep up with you all better in the future. Cecil just wanted to add a thank-you for being there for Mimi so much. She loves and talks about you, Kent and those three boys all the time. That's why she was anxious to get back for Christmas to be with them. Can't believe the boys have grown so much. I found a picture of you, Chris, Craig and Scott when you all were 4 and he was 3 at Christmas. What fun you had together.
